It is 11.04 miles (17.77 km) in length, running from I75 in the south from the city of Stockbridge to I285 at its north end. I675 is also designated as the Terrell Starr Parkway and is also known as the unsigned Georgia state route 413. At one time, I675 was to connect with Georgia 400 in northeast Atlanta. Continuous rain, spawned by moisture pulled from the Gulf of Mexico and the remnants of Hurricane Fred, fell faster than the local watersheds could drain the runoff. Initial damages from around the state were estimated at 250 million. On September 26, Georgia Insurance Commissioner John Oxendine raised the estimated cost to 500 million with the potential for it to rise.
