Are you sick and tired that almost so much what you buy is made in China or places other than the USA? When?

I was younger pretty many things were made in Japan but a lot of things, especially major items, were made in the USA. Todat almost all our electronics, many cars, almost all toys and small items are made in China. I’m sure these items are made for a lower rate of pay for the Chinese than if made in America but why so much? Couldn’t more be made in America? Why are Honda and some other foreign auto manufactures, making safer, and in many cases, better autos than the USA? France is developing a train system that will go about 300 mph, why can’t we? Just look around your home, turn the items upside down and see how many are made in the USA and how many are made in China. What kind of computer are you using right now? Was it made in America? I love the USA and want to live my life here, but I wish we made more of our goods. I think I’d be willing to pay a little more knowing it was as good, and maybe better item, and gave an American a job. What do you think?

I’m absolutely sick and tired of products made in China. They have been unanimously inferior quality in every thing I’ve purchased. The worst being hand tools. I’ve had some break from a single use. Being a mechanic this is very aggravating. I also can’t stand some companies that shamelesly and brazenly print “made in usa” on their products as a shady excuse to ask more money for poorly made products. Lisle tools is one such company that comes to mind.
There are still some upstanding manufacturers in the USA. I think their names should be published in a list somewhere so people can be made aware. KD tools is one such company that comes to mind. Also Blackbottom cycling gear is another. I suggest just voting with your dollar and buy absolutely no Chinese made products.
