what are the additionary fees for nonresidents (Ukraine)?

I wanna buy a car in the US to export it in Ukraine. I”d like to know how much I need to pay ( total expencees) F.E. Honda civic sedan

Assuming you pay cash, you will pay:

1. Cost of the car (negotiated with dealer)
2. Licensing fees (you need a US driving license, and the fees vary by state)
3. Title issuance fees (they vary by state)
4. Sales tax (it varies by state, but figure on 7-9%)
5. Dealer shipping charges for getting the car from the factory to the dealer (varies by location from factory)

For the above, figure it will add 10% on to the price of the car.

Next, you will pay to ship it to Ukraine – $2000-4000.
Then, you will pay customs to Ukraine. Figure on 20% or more.
And lastly, you will pay to have it inspected in Ukraine to make sure it meets Ukrainian law, and to license it in Ukraine.

So a safe estimate is 50% more than you pay for the car. I would buy it in Kyiv, instead.
