We can’t afford to buy too much and we haven’t got the room for loads of toys so I just tried to get him some things he’d enjoy – he loves Cars, Balmory, Teletubbies and painting!! Some people seem to buy much more for their children though, I feel a bit mean!

That’s plenty, IMO. Two year olds are happy with just one present. In fact, don’t be surprised if he ignores all of that and plays with a cardboard box instead. I have a 6, 2 and 7 month old boys and they got 5 presents each. I’ve learned that too many presents get confusing and they end up not playing with half of it anyway.
