What’s a good classic car to invest in?

I’m looking to invest in an old car. I’ve got a pretty good connect for paint and body work, and I’m sure I could find someone to do interior upholstery and engine work if need be. I find beat up old cars on craigslist and stuff, but I don’t know enough about them. Obviously Corvette’s and Mustang’s are always popular, but what else? What are some highly coveted old cars I should keep an eye out for that I could make a profit off of? Also, what should I specifically check for when I do find this car? Is having the original engine really important? Someone enlighten me, please.
