Why does it make me sad?

So im suspended from school till Thursday and today i cleaned my closet and i have a big chest full of old stuff. So i spent the day cleaning it and like i found so many old stuff from when i was a kid. i found like mighty morphin power rangers stuff and marbles and my gameboy color and games and pictures and old cds and stuffed animals and toy cars and LEGOS!! and so much more stuff. im 16 and a sophomore and like idk i even watched All That and Kenen and Kel and The Brothers Garcia on tv today and idk im all sad now.i miss everything like power rangers and pokemon and saturday morning and Fruit Loops an so much more. I hate everything now with computers and phones and xboxs. i have all that but i now i dont even want it. i like my gameboy color and my pokemon yellow. its so freakin cool why does reminiscing make me sooo sad though i dont get it?

im exactly the same way. i think being a teenager and getting older makes u think back to the good old days of being a kid and carefree, and not having any of the stress that comes with getting older. i have recently been getting back into stuff i liked when i was a kid, like i have downloaded and watched episodes of pokemon and old snick shows, and i miss all that 90′s stuff and all those things i liked as a kid. when ur a kid ur mindset is so simple that you dont think deep like you do as u get older. things are usually good, and even when something bad happens as a kid its just some minor little problem, whereas now you can get totally depressed. bringing back the memories is both a happy and sad thing, becuz u realize u cant have that time back but it brings back all the good memories.
