should they have left transformers alone and made a scifi movie?

from what i see from the trailers, transformers looks like a scifi movie, and nothing like the cartoon from the 80′s they should of stick with the story characters and the robots and transformations down to the original show, i wonder how many people can go see the movie, growing up from the 80′s that could call the movie transformers. one thing i found was bumble bee is a chev car instead of a volkswagon beatle, thats just wrong and megatron’s not even a gun

I am stoked about the new movie but i agree if they didn’t stick to the original cartoon from the 80s then i don’t know about it. But you know you have to go see it regardless.
